JNCL-NCLIS Advocacy Days 2025

As a member of AATG, you are also a member of JNCL. JNCL-NCLIS, the Joint National Committee for Languages- National Council for Languages and International Studies, analyzes federal & state legislation, provides policy recommendations to decision-makers on Capitol Hill, and tracks the budget & appropriations process in Congress.

Every February, Language Advocacy Day brings advocates from across the country to our annual policy summit and lobby-day in Washington, DC. During Language Advocacy Days 2025, attendees will build relationships with members of Congress and meet to discuss the most pressing issues facing language programs, educators, and professionals across the nation.

Language Advocacy Days 2025 will be held in person in Washington, D.C., followed by a virtual, single-issue-focused Advocacy Action Day in fall 2025!
