Centennial Conference FAQs

Registration will open in early 2026. 
When registration opens, AATG and AATF will have separate registration portals on their respective web sites, ensuring that member-rates are live and up to date. 
The Metzler-Mews Conference Travel Fund is designed to support German educators, with a special focus on teachers who do not have access to travel and/or professional development funding through their institution. This includes K-12 teachers, college faculty, part-time German teachers, teachers at Samstagsschulen, etc. 
A call for exhibitors and sponsors will come out in the next couple of months. Check back here soon!
The AATG and AATF will make content-based decisions for panels in their respective areas (i.e. French and German Language). The AATG’s conference committee will organize the paper solicitation and evaluation for all German-Language proposals. 
A Call for Papers will be distributed in early fall 2025.

The Westin Copley Place is located directly across from the BackBay Acela station connecting Boston-Washington DC and points in-between. It’s near restaurants, cafés, German and French cultural centers and of course a Trader Joe’s!
We imagine some joint receptions, coffee breaks, exhibit hall, and social networking opportunities. The AATG and AATF will mutually support each other in the planning process to benefit both organizations.
